But what do these words mean? What can we learn from this? How should it effect the way we live our lives? The way we pray? In this episode, we reflect on the words of Jesus in John 14:12-14 as we look for answers to these questions. How long am I to bear with you? And Jesus[d] asked his father, “How long has he had this?” And he said, “From childhood. And it has often cast him into the fire and into the water, to destroy him; but if you can do anything, have pity on us and help us.” And Jesus said to him, “If you can! Faith is a filial adherence to God beyond what we feel and understand. It is possible because the beloved Son gives us access to the Father.
